The Clamp Method: The Clamp Method is very similar to the Clench Method. The only difference is that instead of laying the rabbit down on a table with its ears clenched in your right hand (Clench Method) you lay the rabbit on your lap with its ears clamped between your knees, while sitting down. This method leaves both hands free, so it is especially useful. Here are some photos to help you understand how to use the Clamp Method to handle your rabbit:
Sit yourself down, and firmly grip the base of the rabbit's ears with your right hand, while supporting its rump with your left hand.
Slowly lay the rabbit down as if you are using the Clench Method.
Tuck the rabbit's ears between your knees, and clamp your knees together firmly. It is very important that you hold the rabbit's ears very firmly between your knees, otherwise it will struggle.
This method is somewhat more difficult to perfect than other methods. However, once you (and your rabbit) are used to it, it is one of the most useful handling methods, because it leaves both of your hands free to check the rabbit's teeth, clip the rabbit's claws, etc.
